Chimney Beach

 

Chimney Beach is a public beach located on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. It is situated approximately two miles south of Sand Harbor State Park. The beach is accessed via a hike that can be challenging, so visitors are advised to come prepared.

Chimney Beach is known for its scenic beauty and tends to be quieter compared to other beaches in the area. The beach can be reached by taking the Chimney Beach Trail, which starts from a parking area along Route 28 on the north end of the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. The trail is approximately 0.55 miles long and is located on National Forest land.
