Discover Vikingsholm Castle: A Hidden Treasure Near Our North Lake Tahoe Vacation Rentals

Vikingsholm Castle is located on the shores of Emerald Bay with beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. It is one of the finest examples of Scandinavian Architecture in North America. It was built on the wish of a widow Lora J. Knight, she purchased this isolated land at that time and turned it into a fortress which represents the blend of art and history in today's time.

Vikingsholm is more than an old fancy house, you can see a lot of woodwork, carvings, dragon motifs, and overall design which represents the rich culture of the Lake Tahoe region.
