Welcome to "Retreat at the Lake," a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation rental house with a hot tub in Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe. This inviting rental house offers four bedrooms, and two bathrooms, a space to accommodate up to 8 persons, and is just a short stroll from a quaint local beach.

With Kings Beach only 3 minutes away and over ten North Tahoe ski resorts and cross-country areas within a quick drive, adventure and relaxation meet at this prime location. The heart of the home, the Great Room, welcomes you with a cozy gas fireplace, set against the backdrop of a newly renovated kitchen boasting top-of-the-line appliances.

Upper Level: The Great Room and kitchen offer an open, airy space, leading into the master bedroom complete with an ensuite bathroom.

Lower Level: Features three additional bedrooms—one with two queen beds and another with two sets of bunk beds. Notably, access to the furthest bedroom is through the bunk room, offering a unique layout that accommodates various guest needs.

Step outside to the deck for grilling on the gas BBQ and dining on a rustic wood slab table, all while overlooking the beautifully landscaped garden. The garden itself is a haven for relaxation, featuring a comfortable outdoor sofa and a large, new hot tub, perfect for unwinding under the stars after a day of Tahoe exploration.

This house is registered under the permit number STR22-5882. Due to the susceptibility of Lake Tahoe to wildfires and winter storms, we maintain a strict no-refund policy for cancellations related to COVID-19, air quality, road conditions, road closures, and weather. To mitigate potential travel disruptions we recommend purchasing trip insurance or booking closer to your intended travel dates. Upon booking, guests will be required to e-sign a rental agreement to ensure the protection of our home and its contents. To ensure a comfortable start to your stay, we provide a 2-day Home Supply Starter Kit.

House Rules

Renters must be at least 25 years old. Any guests under 25 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25. For guests with electric vehicles, we offer an EV charging station. Please note, that our home does not feature air conditioning, which is common in Tahoe homes. Ceiling fans and portable fans are provided for your comfort. The maximum day/night occupancy is 10 guests. Parking availability is 3 spaces during summer and 2 spaces during winter. Pets are not allowed. Smoking, vaping, and parties are strictly prohibited to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests.
