The Tahoe Cup - Lake Crossing is a premier paddle sports event spanning a 22-mile (35km) point-to-point course across Lake Tahoe, known as the Alpine Caribbean. Open to various crafts including stand-up paddleboards, prone paddleboards, outrigger canoes, and surf skis, this event offers both individual and relay team challenges, encapsulating the spirit of adventure and endurance.

- Location: Start at El Dorado Beach, South Tahoe, and finish at Waterman's Landing, Carnelian Bay

Individual Participant | Lake Crossing: $145
2-Person Teams | Lake Crossing: $145 per person
Relay Team (up to 9 participants) | Lake Crossing: $300 per crew
6-man Outrigger Crew | Lake Crossing: $300 per crew
Schedule:
The race day will be announced between Monday and Wednesday, the week of the race, based on weather conditions. Be prepared to race on any of the reserved days.
Special Features:
Team Relay: Open category with a maximum of 9 participants per team.
Awards: Categories include Junior, Open, Master, Senior Master, Legend. Relay teams awarded based on fundraising.
Safety: Paddlers must carry cell phones or tracking devices. Escort boats required for relay teams.
Additional Offerings:
Rentals and Storage: Available for paddle crafts with limited spaces.
Training and Clinics: Custom plans and clinics available with Jay Wild, Team Tahoe Waterman's Head Coach.
Transportation and Parking:
Participants are responsible for their transportation to the start. Free parking available at the event site and at El Dorado Beach.
Dining at the Event:
Tahoe Watermans Cafe: Offers a healthy organic menu with breakfast and lunch served all day, along with a coffee bar, beer, and wine. The beach is dog-friendly.
Environmental Awareness:

Special Safety Note:
Lake Tahoe is an alpine lake at 6,000 feet elevation. Participants should check weather conditions and dress appropriately. Emergency rescue provisions are in place along the course.
