The Lake Tahoe Open Water Swim is a celebration of the natural environment of the Tahoe region. The swim features the clear, clean water of Lake Tahoe and the white sand beaches of California's Ed'ZBerg Sugar Pine State Park. The swim has three sanctioned courses:

• True Width (12 miles/19.3 km)

• Vikingsholm (10.6 miles/17.1 km)

• Length (21.3 miles/34.3 km)
