Truckee River Day & Fair

Truckee River Day is a rain-or-shine event, and this year, it takes place on Sunday, October 15th. Start times are available at 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM and continue until approximately 2:30 PM. The event spans various locations throughout the watershed, with specific sites to be announced in mid-September.

Truckee River Day has a rich history dating back to 1996 when it first began. It was the spark that ignited the formation of the Truckee River Watershed Council. Since then, thousands of nature lovers have gathered annually, donning their gumboots, wielding buckets and shovels, and wearing smiles to embark on hundreds of restoration projects throughout the watershed.
