Welcome to “Mammoth Haven Retreat”, a spacious Lakeview vacation rental home, located in Dollar Point, CA, designed to accommodate up to 10 guests. This luxurious residence features 4 bedrooms, an additional non-private sleeping room, and 4 bathrooms, making it an ideal retreat for large families or groups seeking a memorable stay by the lake.

Guests will enjoy the comfort of a wood-burning fireplace, entertainment from a 65-inch flatscreen TV, and fun evenings around the pool table. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a French-door refrigerator, granite counters, and a large dining table that seats 10. This house also features a hot tub, alongside a large deck equipped with a table and chairs set, offering stunning views of the lake, and includes a gas grill for outdoor gatherings. The property also boasts a large lawn area, proximity to the beach and hiking trails, a heated walkway from the driveway to the front door, and heated bathroom floors for those cooler Tahoe nights.

The home is conveniently located near various services and dining options, with a cafe, casual dining, and a dine-in restaurant all within 4 miles. For your grocery needs, a supermarket is just 4 miles away. Guests are encouraged to explore nearby attractions, including Truckee River Rafting, Sand Harbor, Nordic Center for hiking and mountain biking, Historic Downtown Truckee & Visitor Center, Donner Memorial State Museum and State Park, Old Brockway Golf Course, and the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.

• Lake Tahoe Conditions: Lake Tahoe is prone to wildfires and winter storms. We do not offer cancellations, refunds, or credits for any reason, including COVID-19, poor air quality, road conditions, road closures, and weather conditions. To mitigate potential issues, we highly recommend purchasing trip insurance or booking closer to your travel dates.

• Air Conditioning: This home does not have air conditioning.

• Rental Agreement: After booking, guests will be asked to e-sign another rental agreement to protect our home from guest damages.

• Technology and Comforts: The home features a Sonos Sound System, high-speed internet, and free WiFi, perfect for working from home, distance learning, and streaming. For winter guests, 4WD/traction may be required, and the home comes equipped with a boot and glove dryer, handy during ski season.

• Dollar Point Access: Dollar Point does not allow short-term renters to use their private beach, pool, or tennis courts.

• Home Supply Starter Kit: Our home is stocked with a 2-day Home Supply Starter Kit including two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, two rolls of paper towels, 4 laundry pods, 4 dishwasher pods, 1 new dish sponge, 1 small liquid dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and 2 kitchen garbage bags. For longer stays, please add these items to your shopping list.

House Rules

1. Minimum Age for Rental: The minimum age to rent the property is 25 years of age. All guests under 25 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25.

2. Pets: Pets are not allowed. This ensures the comfort and safety of all our guests, including those with allergies.

3. Parties: Parties and events are not allowed. We strive to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests and the surrounding community.
