I’m Murat Gocmen, founder of MG Vacation Rentals Tahoe and a full-time North Lake Tahoe local. For more than a decade, I have built and refined what is now a portfolio of 38 vacation rental homes managed end-to-end from our Incline Village headquarters. We serve two communities every day: guests who come to Lake Tahoe for the kind of trip they will remember, and homeowners who trust us to manage their property the way they would manage it themselves.

My path to property management started in software engineering. I spent years building large-scale booking systems for global travel platforms. The technology was sophisticated, but it was missing something fundamental: the warmth that turns a transaction into a memory. MG Vacation Rentals Tahoe was built to close that gap. We pair the precision of modern hospitality technology with the kind of local, human service that only a small, owner-operated team can deliver.

The home was equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need, it felt like visiting my mom’s house, where every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. The space was spotless, beautifully organized, and filled with small touches that made it feel extra welcoming and comfortable. You can tell a lot of care and love went into setting up this place. It was extremely easy to navigate to off the main road but still felt secluded up in the pines. I had no idea but what a great location too. Very walkable to a handful of places (casino/bars) or a very short drive to everything you need. Moon Dune Beach was close and felt private and whitecaps pizza spicy Hawaiian… we got it 3x! The place was quaint and felt like a true mountain cabin but with plenty of space for everyone with a great common area to relax and unwind. Multiple patio areas made it great to enjoy the great summer mountain weather. Mgs place had everything we needed and the bathrooms were super clean and fresh almost like staying in a hotel. Furthermore, the garage space came in clutch! You can easily fit two small cars in there and a great space to keep golf bags/beach stuff! All of this came at a pretty killer rate considering the location. Would def recommend!

It was in a perfect location, in a peaceful neighborhood, moments to the best beaches in north Lake Tahoe. The host was incredibly helpful with any questions we had. The house was well equipped to cook and eat meals while overlooking the lake view. It was a 10/10 and we hope to be back to this home soon! Our kids loved it! Wholeheartedly recommend!

The house was amazing! The decor so cozy. Loved that each bedroom had its own en suite. The views were amazing. There’s a porch that you could sit out on day & night! It was very clean and had everything we needed!  Kitchen was modern & the hot tub & sauna were an extra bonus, plenty of linens too! It’s so peaceful & perfect in every way. Hope to go back soon!!!
